Setting up 2 feet planted - Zoli ti Z'ile

Early March, I decided to give my 2 feet tank a new look. Since this tank is going to be kept permanently, use of ADA and other good equipment would be 'justified' :)

I named it : Zoli ti Z'ile (translating to Beautiful small island)

Tank perfectly cleaned for new setup. Previous setup included lapis sand with JBL substrate.

Jebo838 installed (will upgrate to Eheim 2026 a few weeks later)

Yeps, ADA amazonia.. did not use PowerSand Special (unlike my 1.5 feet setup). Use 1.25 bags 9L

Eheim Pro II 2026 with Media Set... Youpie.. at last i got myself a good filter.. Had to trick my gf that this was for my goldfish tank to seek permission to purchase... after that...well, guess what.. transfered my old Jebo838 to goldfish and use that one for my planted... Nice self-priming

Placing Amazonia soil, and Driftwood with X-mass moss tied..oh yea.. the wood was not sinking yet.. so had to use a plastic stick (dunno real intended purpose of that thing from fish shop) to hold it now... It was left there for more than 2 weeks before being removed...

Few days after setup - - mostly stemmed plants at the tank..include many species of rotala, downoi, hair grass... (will edit once i know the names of the plants..apologies for that)

After some time... here is my tank... now facing inadequate lights issue..my hairgrass starting to melt....... arrgghhh
